I work all day today and tomorrow and then that's it, my senior year at UNL will finally be complete. Nothing too exciting going on really, I just started work and we're not too busy, but after yesterday, I am sure things will pick up. The tech people had to shut down the servers because something was fucking up and making all the tests run really slow. I had one girl sit on a page for 35 minutes and it didn't even load, it was ridiculous. Of course we had some rude people who sat here for five minutes and then got up and left. I didn't feel bad for those people, because they were stupid. I felt bad for the ones who sat in this room for four hours hoping their test would come up. We finally closed at four, but the tech people were aware of the problem starting at about 9:30 when I called, and yet nothing got done until four. Kind of ridiculous, but oh well, shit happens.
Okay, so is anyone else annoyed by this whole 'emo' thing? It has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard of and it is only getting worse. You didn't have to create a whole new term for yourself, I believe the word 'vag' and/or 'douche' describe you just fine. I am so sick of this stupid woe is me, uppermiddleclass white rich kid bullshit. Yeah, I'm sure it is so difficult having all that money. Shut up and get a job, Trust Fund Baby. Then you might have cause to complain about your life when you're actually doing something with it instead of sitting around all day with your little emo friends listening to your emo music. Lame.
That's all for now, but given some of the entertaining people who came into the testing center yesterday, I am sure I'll have more observations to make later.
